off to my mums friend's for new year now. so happy new year everybody :) see you on the other side.
so for new years eve were going to my mums friend's house
I dont know her that well and I have never met her husband. Its going to be one of those awkward situations. Oh dear. I would much rather stay at home to be honest. I think New Year is overrated anyway.

So, this is basically what New Year's is like.
It’s 11:59PM on December 31, 2010.
It’s 12AM on January 1.
Ten minutes later, realize nothing has changed.
Nothing amazing happens just because it’s not 2010 anymore. It’s still just another day.
same shit, different day.

The awkward moment when you pick up the phone and someone is talking to you in French. FRENCH??! I ran downstairs and threw the phone at my mum like ‘MUM THERES A FRENCHIE ON THE PHONE!’. They had hung up by this point.
